Project Manager Intern, Kontur
2025 5 months

Kontur is one of the largest B2B software companies in Eastern Europe — 38 years on the market, 12,000 employees, ~70 products helping businesses simplify internal processes and interact with government agencies.

Also, Kontur is famous for its engineering culture and is often called “Ural’s Google” by the media — if you're curious why, let ChatGPT or Claude run a quick search for you.

During my internship at Kontur, I was responsible for building an internal platform from scratch for organizing and participating in corporate events. The goal was to give all 12,000+ employees visibility into events happening within the company — making it easier to discover activities outside their teams, connect with colleagues, and grow professionally.

The platform is built to handle dozens of events per month across departments and business units, with attendance ranging from 10 to 1,000 participants.

I managed a cross-functional team of 4 — two software engineers, a UX/UI designer, and a DevOps engineer — and led the full MVP delivery cycle: from requirements gathering to closed beta release. I worked closely with 3 stakeholders to define priorities, milestones, and acceptance criteria, and owned the backlog, sprint scope, and delivery roadmap throughout. I also set up core Agile ceremonies, including planning, grooming, retrospectives, and weekly syncs — to keep the team aligned and moving. I also actively integrated AI tools into the development workflow to accelerate delivery.

Results

  • Delivered the platform in 5 months, on schedule
  • All planned MVP features were implemented, tested, and accepted by stakeholders
  • The platform is currently being tested by HR, with a company-wide rollout planned for Q3 2026
